Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to Imaglo ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our web application at imaglo.io.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your email address and create an account record containing:

  • Email address
  • Account plan (free, starter, pro)
  • Usage statistics (conversion counts)
  • Billing information via Paddle (we do not store card details)

Conversion Data

When you use AI renaming, we store the filenames (original and output) and generated alt text in your conversion history. We do not store your actual image files.

Naming Presets

We store any naming presets you create (prefix/suffix combinations and labels).

Analytics

We use PostHog for product analytics (page views, feature usage) and Sentry for error monitoring. These services may set cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the Imaglo service
  • To process payments via Paddle
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
  • To enforce usage limits based on your plan
  • To respond to support requests

4. Image Processing

All image processing (resizing, compression, format conversion) happens entirely in your browser. Your original image files are never transmitted to our servers. Only a small JPEG thumbnail (maximum 800×800px) is sent to our API for AI analysis; this thumbnail is processed in memory and not stored.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data with the following third parties:

  • Supabase — database hosting (EU region)
  • Anthropic — AI analysis of thumbnail images
  • Paddle — payment processing
  • PostHog — product analytics
  • Sentry — error monitoring

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Conversion history is retained indefinitely unless you delete it. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Account > Data & Privacy.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data — download it from Account > Data & Privacy
